The National Gallery of Australia has announced it will return 14 works from its Asian art collection to India under new guidelines looking at the legal and ethical aspects of a work's history. 13 of the items were purchased from alleged antiquities smuggler Subhash Kapoor, while another came from late New York art dealer William Wolff. Vijay Kumar, co-founder of the India Pride Project, tells The World whether Australia done enough to ensure supposedly stolen artworks are being returned to their rightful owners.
