Najib Mikati says the gun battles are a 'flagrant violation' of Lebanese sovereignty. Six days of violence between rival Palestinian groups have killed at least 13 people and displaced thousands.

 Focus of the Day Legal News: The Crown Office is facing calls to disclose its “confidential” guidelines for issuing recorded police warnings (RPWs), The Herald reports. The calls follow the recent assault of a woman, Julie Marshall, at a rally in Aberdeen.
