Today's Highlighted Video Story: The man who defied Vladimir Putin and led a failed mutiny in Russia has reportedly been killed in a plane crash. Yevgeny Prigozhin was the boss of the Wagner Mercenary group, who's fierce tactics were feared on the battlefront in Ukraine, as well as Syria and parts of Africa. Isabella Currie from La Trobe University says Prigozhin had made a lot of enemies and that his death doesn’t come as a surprise.

 Focus of the Day Legal News: The government’s record on the administration of justice – maybe the most dismal in memory, given legal aid deserts, long court delays and the other Dickensian horrors with which we are familiar – has received another severe rebuke, this time from an unexpected and embarrassing quarter: a court in Germany.
