Today's Highlighted Video Story: The European Union has accused the Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko of a "gangster-style” approach towards migrants trying to cross the Polish border and trying to force them to make an illegal entry into the EU. Thousands of people are now camped out along the frontier in freezing temperatures, while Poland has sent extra troops and riot police to shore up its security.
Focus of the Day Story: The High Court has refused to make an order to prevent future claims on a law firm’s fees that claimants may argue came from stolen funds. Mr Justice Miles said the claimants would have to overcome “serious legal and evidential obstacles” to bring such claims and there was “no present prospect” of them doing so.
