Focus of the Day Legal Article: A lucky 116 lawyers made it through the rigorous application process to be named Queen’s Counsel. They include 40 women out of 72 who applied (compared to 30 out of 52 last year), 28 applicants aged over 50 (compared to 26 last year) and six solicitor-advocates out of 15 who applied (compared to four last year).
