Focus of the day story: The Courts and Tribunals Judiciary has this week published guidance for professionals involved in the ‘settlement conferences’ pilots in the family courts. Judges are also asked to complete and send back a short form for any case involving a ‘settlement conference’. The pilot has been running since June 2017, and is ongoing ‘until Ministry of Justice Analytical Services has collected sufficient information on the approach to inform a decision on the future of the pilot’.
