FOCUS OF THE DAY: The Bar Standards Board (BSB) is asking barristers to take part in a three-year training and education reform programme entitled Future Bar Training. The programme aims to focus training on what is demonstrably required for professional practice, ensure the regulatory structure does not act as a barrier for candidates, and maintain authorisation standards in a changing market.
