Today's Video Focus:  A court in Saudi Arabia has sentenced five people to death for the murder of the journalist Jamal Khashoggi last year, the public prosecutor has said. Khashoggi, a prominent critic of the Saudi government, was killed inside the kingdom's consulate in the Turkish city of Istanbul by a team of Saudi agents.

Today's Video Focus:  Gripping footage showed the extreme conditions firefighters have faced as they try to control Australia's sweeping bushfires. New South Wales Rural Fire Service shared a video from the early hours of Sunday morning of their firefighters attempting to tackle a blaze raging close to homes in Blackheath. A fire service official had said strong southerly winds fanned more than 100 fires in New South Wales alone on Saturday.

The president of the Paris-based Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA) was due to deliver the keynote speech at the Global Lawyers Forum hosted in Guangzhou earlier this month.
