Today's Highlighted Video Story:  Alarming figures have been released highlighting the poor treatment of women in the Australian Defence Force during Royal Commission hearings into Defence and Veteran Suicide. Despite statistics showing an under representation of females serving in the ADF, a legal service says a concerning majority of its clients are women who've experienced sexual abuse or assault. Compared with the general national population, the rate of suicide among ex-serving women personnel is 107%

 

 Focus of the Day Legal News:  A lay member of an employment tribunal did not give rise to apparent bias despite her posting a link on social media to a report of her case, an appeal tribunal has ruled. Full story - The Law Society Gazette
