 Today's Highlighted Video Story:  Relatives of the victims of the serial killer Stephen Port have long claimed that homophobia was a factor in the police failure to catch him sooner. Now, a report from the police watchdog seen exclusively by this programme reveals that "discrimination" and "bias" could have played a part in those failings. The Met have always claimed that a lack of "professional curiosity" was to blame - rather than any wider issues. But as Minnie Stephenson reports - the police watchdog is also concerned about systemic discrimination within the force against LGBTQ officers.

Focus of the Day Article: The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) is to encourage large law firms to start reporting their ethnicity pay gap alongside the requirement to publish their gender pay gap. The regulator also plans to introduce ‘exit questionnaires’ for solicitors leaving the profession to find out if there were diversity related reasons. Full story - Legal Futures
