Today's Video Focus: Spanish police officers have been placed under investigation for repeatedly pointing guns at two women. The video was shot in La Bisbal d’Emporda, Spain on Saturday after a man was placed under arrest for allegedly violating nationwide lockdown rules amid the COVID-19 pandemic. City Hall sources said the officers were wielding pepper gas weapons, and in a statement, La Bisbal’s city council insisted it has a firm position of “repulsion against any violent, racist, xenophobic, sexist or authoritarian attitude.”
Focus of the Day article: The Supreme Court will soon welcome its newest member, Lord Leggatt, a former commercial silk at Brick Court Chambers. Sir George Leggatt, currently Lord Justice Leggatt, will be sworn in as Justice in a closed ceremony on 21 April.
