Today's Video Focus:  The Chinese city of Wuhan, the source of an outbreak of a new flu-like virus, is closing its transport networks and has advised citizens not to leave the city as the death toll rose steeply overnight. Hospitals in Wuhan are reportedly dealing with huge numbers of sick patients, raising fears the new coronavirus is spreading faster than official reports suggest.


Focus of the Day article: The designers of the new portal for low-value RTA claims have unveiled the website ahead of the proposed 6 April start date. The Motor Insurers’ Bureau, which is tasked with setting up the system, announced the portal will be called Official Injury Claim. Claimant lawyers and insurers can now register to use the portal, as well as create accounts for web users and test integration to the service. Full story - The Law Society Gazette
