Today's Video Focus Story: It is the biggest bank fraud scam till date and at the heart of it is Nirav Modi, the jeweller to the rich and famous who along with corrupt bank officials allegedly fleeced over Rs 11,300 crore rupees in seven years, and now can't be traced. Just like Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi too easily flew out of the country before the authorities could tighten the noose. The scam which has shaken up the banking sector to the core has also triggered a political earthquake. The opposition Congress has launched a scathing attack on PM Narendra Modi for letting "Chhota Modi" get away while the ruling BJP says the fraud took place under Congress' watch. Focus of the Day Story: The Nuffield Foundation has today set out its plans to establish a Family Justice Observatory that will support the best possible decisions for children by improving the use of data and research evidence in the family justice system in England and Wales. A 12-month development phase will begin in March this year, delivered by a team appointed by the Foundation. The development phase will build the infrastructure and operating model for the Observatory, followed by a 4-5 year pilot delivery phase, to begin in spring 2019. Full story - Family Law Week
