Today's video story: President-elect Donald Trump has suggested there should be punishments for people who burn the US flag, such as a year in prison or revoking citizenship. It follows a protest outside Trump Tower where supporters of the NYC Revolution Club burned an American flag. One of those who took part Sunsara Taylor, defended the right to burn the flag, while Church Pastor Jody Rogers condemned the move.


Focus of the Day story:  The Ministry of Justice has denied ever promising a benchmark figure for an acceptable maximum public transport travel time for people attending court when it considers court closures. In a letter to House of Commons justice select committee chair Bob Neill MP, permanent secretary Richard Heaton (pictured) said access to justice was ‘not just about’ court proximity.
