FOCUS OF THE DAY: HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has launched a new campaign to target solicitors’ unpaid taxes, through which lawyers can choose to bring their tax affairs up to date or face tougher penalties in 2015. Through HMRC’s ‘Solicitors’ Tax Campaign’, lawyers will be able to take part in the campaign by signing up before 9 March 2015, and make a payment with a reduced fine until the 9 June 2015.
