Today's Video Focus:  The report initiated by Manchester city's Mayor reveals that police knew that predominantly Asian grooming gangs were operating in the city, but they were told to find other ethnicities to investigate. The scandal dates back to 2003 and police identified nearly 100 suspects and there were dozens of victims but the operation was closed down prematurely as resources were moved elsewhere. Tonight, after similar grooming scandals in at least half a dozen major town and citys across the country, how safe are Britain's most vulnerable children? 


Focus of the Day article: Law firms assume – wrongly – that their professional indemnity insurance covers them if they are investigated or prosecuted by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), research has warned. As a result, a minority of firms surveyed have directors and officers’ (D&O) insurance – also known as management liability insurance – to cover the costs of regulatory action.
