Today's Highlighted Video Story: The failure to fix dangerous concrete in school classrooms was today laid at Rishi Sunak' s door after he was accused of cutting spending on school repairs when he was Chancellor of the Exchequer. The Prime Minister insisted that was "completely and utterly wrong" - and claimed the majority of schools were unaffected. But a sweary outburst from the Education Secretary Gillian Keegan revealed ministers' frustration that they are being blamed for shut classrooms.

Focus of the Day Legal News:  Lady Justice Thirlwall appointed to lead public inquiry into Lucy Letby. Thirlwall was the presiding judge in the 2013 case of Mick and Mairead Philpott and Paul Mosley. Full story - Guardian Law

Today's Highlighted Video Story: After riots broke out in Tel Aviv on Saturday, Israel is considering the immediate deportation of Eritrean asylum seekers, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu saying "a red line" had been crossed. Some 170 people were injured in violent clashes with police and in-fighting between groups of supporters and opponents of the Eritrean regime. Mr Netenyahu also ordered a new plan to remove all African migrants that he described as "illegal infiltrators". Saturday's unprecedented disorder began after activists opposed to the Eritrean government said that they had asked Israeli authorities to cancel an event organised by their country's embassy.

Focus of the Day Legal News:  An investment of £11.3m in early legal advice providers is needed urgently, the Law Society has warned.
