Today's Highlighted Video Story: A valedictory was held for The Right Hon Lord Kitchin as a Supreme Court Justice on 25 July 2023, ahead of his retirement in September 2023. Lord Kitchin was appointed to the Supreme Court in October 2018 and during this time has made an enormous contribution to the Court's work through his judgments. The ceremony included remarks by President of The Supreme Court, The Right Hon Lord Reed of Allermuir, Lord Reed. Further remarks were made by Iain Purvis KC and Daniel Alexander KC Lord Kitchin also spoke, reflecting on his judicial career and time at the Supreme Court and thanking his family and his colleagues for their support throughout his career.
