 Today's Highlighted Video Story: Just days after Maryland became the first state in the country to impose a tax on digital advertising targeting Big Tech, lobbying groups representing companies including Amazon, Facebook, Google are trying to stop it.  Today's Highlighted Video Story: At least two people have been killed in Myanmar after riot police fired live rounds to disperse crowds protesting against the military coup. Witnesses said police opened fire at demonstrators in the country's second largest city, Mandalay. One victim was shot in the head and died at the scene, the other died on the way to hospital. Protestors were forced to flee as security forces chased after them.

 Today's Highlighted Video Story: 21st February is International Mother Language day. On February 21, 1952, students and the common people in Dhaka (present day Bangladesh) had taken to the streets in protest against the then Pakistani government's denial of Bangla as the national language and imposition of Urdu as the sole official language of Pakistan. Salam, Barkat, Rafiq, Jabbar and a few other brave sons of the soil were killed in police firings on this day in 1952 when students came out in processions from the Dhaka University campus defying section 144 to press home their demand for the recognition of Bangla as a state language of the then Pakistan

 Today's Highlighted Video Story: First, the Australian government proposed bringing in a law to make tech giants pay for content from news organisations. Then Facebook and Google fought back claiming it was unfair and "fundamentally misunderstands" how social media platforms publish news. But while Google backed down and signed a multi-year deal with News Corp, Facebook last night blocked news reaching its Australian users. Now Australia's prime minister has attacked the social media platform, branding it "arrogant" and said his government won't be intimidated into abandoning the law.
