Focus of the Day Legal Article: Non-custody cases are now being listed towards the end of 2022 in many parts of the country, the Lord Chief Justice, Lord Burnett has told barristers. This ‘is worrying’, he said in his speech to the Annual Bar and Young Bar Conference this week, as the longer it takes for a case to come to trial the more likely it is that something will go wrong with it.
