When small businesses believe they can trust the transparency of legal providers on fees, they are twice as likely to seek the advice of lawyers, according to the Legal Services Board (LSB).
The board said the finding supported the thrust of the Competition and Markets Authority’s recommendations, which called for greater price transparency, which are being implemented by all the legal regulators.

The law underlines the country as a Jewish state and downgrades the status of the Arabic language. Critics say it makes Israel's non-Jewish minorities into second-class citizens. The Druze are an Arabic-speaking group with their own distinct religious and cultural traditions. They make up two percent of Israel's population and are found mainly in the northern regions of Galilee, and Carmel. Unlike Arab Israelis, the Druze are not exempt from mandatory military service. Around six out of 10 men have served in the Israeli armed forces.
