Today's Video Focus:  Lebanon has been wracked by mass protests since October, toppling one government along the way already. It's all fuelled by popular anger at endemic corruption and the worst economic crisis to hit the country for 30 years. There are new faces in charge, but many feel the old politics has basically stayed the same. However, with a movement spanning both class and sectarian divides, young revolutionaries believe that this time they will finally get the changes they're demanding.


Focus of the Day article: Many readers will know that we recently marked the centenary of the Sex Disqualification (Removal) Act 1919, which paved the way for women to practise as solicitors and barristers in England and Wales for the first time. The most recent figures show that women now make up a majority of practising solicitors, but I believe there is still a long way to go to establish the level of women in senior roles in law firms.
