Today's video story: Aleppo, a war-ravaged city split between the government and rebels, is an emblem of the Syrian conflict. Rebels are now pushing with a "last-chance" assault seeking to break the Syrian forces' siege on their territories. The BBC spoke to a doctor running one of the few remaining hospitals in the rebel-held areas of the city. Dr Hamza al-Khatib, a general surgeon, lives and works in the hospital. He reveals how they help people survive in a battle zone.

Government cuts resulting in 'legal aid deserts' across large parts of England and Wales are denying families access to housing advice and risk increasing homelessness, new statistics have revealed.
